I wore it out once in the rain and was soaked within about ten minutes. If my experience is anything to go by, I wouldn’t count on this being waterproof at all

The jacket itself is fine, I guess, but the hood really bugged me. It just doesn’t sit right and kept sliding down over my eyes anytime I moved around. If I tried tightening it, it felt awkward around my face and somehow still let rain sneak in from the sides. For what it costs, I expected better. Not a total waste, but yeah, the hood definitely needs work.

I bought this because I wanted something I could easily toss in my bag for trips, but it ended up being way bulkier than I expected. I even saw mixed answers about how small it packs down, which is frustrating because some made it sound super compact and others said the opposite. Turns out, it definitely does not fold down small.

It might be fine if you have plenty of extra space, but for travel or hiking it’s kind of annoying to deal with. It feels awkward to pack and takes up more room than I wanted, so I’m disappointed.

I slipped twice while wearing these on wet rocks, so the traction really didn’t hold up for me. Not saying it’s a scam, but I definitely expected way better grip in those conditions.

I checked out froggtoggs.com, a lot of the gear just didn’t really appeal to me. The colors felt kind of odd, and the overall styles seemed a little outdated 😕. It’s probably functional, but not really something I’d be excited to wear out in public...

I expected the exchange to be simple, but it ended up being slow and confusing. The whole process felt disorganized, and the way they handled it gave me the impression they weren’t really on top of things.

I ordered a rain suit in the exact size and color shown on my invoice, and then the package shows up with a different size and the wrong color. At first I was like, wait, did I click the wrong thing? So of course I went back and checked my order email.

Nope, not my mistake. Which is the most frustrating part, because now I’m the one stuck dealing with a return for something they messed up. Annoying experience, and I’m probably not ordering from frogg toggs® again.

It did keep the rain off well but I got sweaty really fast wearing it. There just isn’t much airflow and after a short walk it felt damp inside. For me that kind of defeats the whole point.

I reached out to customer service sometime last week, or maybe it was the week before, I can’t remember exactly, and I’m still waiting for a reply. Frustrating, honestly.

The material seemed to wear down faster than I expected, and one of the seams ended up with a small tear. It’s not like it was completely awful or anything, but I definitely had that feeling of, yeah, this should’ve lasted longer for what I paid

I had a frustrating experience with their warranty support. I sent over everything they asked for, but after that it was mostly slow replies and vague responses that didn’t really help me get anywhere.
it felt like I was just a ticket number instead of an actual customer who had bought their gear and needed help. It seemed like they were looking for a reason not to cover it, and after this experience I don’t see myself ordering from frogg toggs again.

I picked up this Frogg Toggs rain suit for fishing, and for the first couple trips it did the job and kept me mostly dry. After maybe 3 or 4 months, though, I started noticing the seams coming apart and a few small tears in the material. I wasn’t exactly dragging it through brush or anything, just normal use about a handful of times. For what it cost, I figured it would last closer to a full season at least. Disappointing overall.

I bought a pair of Frogg Toggs boots thinking they’d be decent, but my feet started hurting almost right away. The soles felt really hard, with basically no cushioning, and after about an hour my heels were sore. They also rubbed along the sides of my feet, which got annoying fast. Maybe they’re waterproof, but comfort-wise they just didn’t work for me. What made it more frustrating was trying to get help and feeling like nobody wanted to take ownership of the issue. I kept getting passed around instead of anyone actually trying to fix it.

I was disappointed when I tried this jacket on. It feels really thin and kind of cheap, like it might not hold up well in actual rain. I reached out to support and they basically said it’s “meant to be lightweight,” but it just feels flimsy to me

The pockets on these just don’t work well at all. They feel basically useless, which is a shame because that really hurts the overall value for me.

I haven’t used it enough to know if this is a common issue or if I just got unlucky, but the zipper started sticking almost right away. It feels kind of cheap, and now it’s already a hassle to open and close

I ordered my usual size, so I figured it would be fine, but I’m not sure what happened here. It was super loose in some areas, almost like a trash bag, but then weirdly tight in the arms. I kept wondering if I should’ve sized up or down, but the size chart didn’t really help either. I tried to convince myself I could make it work, but the cut was just too strange. I wouldn’t buy it again.

I ordered some rain gear from frogg toggs®, it’s been easy to keep clean so far, which is always nice when something actually does what it’s supposed to do.
After a muddy day of fishing, I just wiped it down with a wet cloth and hung it up to dry. No special cleaner, no dramatic scrubbing session, no pretending I enjoy cleaning gear after being outside all day.
I’m giving it 4 stars because the sleeves took a little longer to dry than I expected, because apparently we can’t have everything. Still, overall, it’s simple to clean and not much of a hassle.
